Transpower has added a 1300 square meter, state-of-the-art, Automatic Paint Spray Facility. The new facility is both temperature controlled and humidity controlled, with a Class 100,000 dust removal grade rating. The spraying equipment and cure ovens replicate automotive grade parts. This $500,000 Capital Expenditure enables Transpower to better serve the smartphone accessory market, as it increases Transpower finishing capacity by over 200% while reducing customer lead times.
Ken Hua, CEO of Transpower, is quoted as saying `Today TransPower is opening a new chapter pertaining to output capacity. With the recent addition of the automatic spray line facility, TransPower can yield as much as 1 million pieces per month. At the same time, this will allow Transpower to become even more vertically integrated. We now have in-house control over the complete product from pcba assembly, wire & cable production, metal stamping, plastic injection, finishing and clamshell packaging.
