On June 10, 2015, Transpower LTD Corporation CEO, Ken Hua, announced the latest equipment acquisition to further enhance Transpower’s SMT Board Assembly capabilities.Two Hitachi (TCM-X100 & TIM-X100), high speed lines were added in May, 2015 to increase the number of SMT Placements. The TCM-X100 machine has twelve heads enabling 48,000 placements per hour. According to Ken Hua, “The added capacity allows Transpower to better serve the electronic OEM marketplace while maintaining our competitiveness and the ability to meet ever increasing customer demand”.
